A little about me:
I am so excited that I have been given the opportunity to help guide your child on their first step into their academic journey! I look forward in getting to know you and your child this year. This year is going to be full of learning and fun! I bet you are a little curious to know more about me!!
Ever since I was a little girl I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. The impact my teachers had on me is what inspired me to become a teacher. My hope is to provide that kind of impact to the lives of the students I teach.
I have lived in Texas my entire life. After graduating high school in Fort Worth, I attended The University of North Texas in Denton (GO EAGLES!) I graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in family and community. After graduation I made the BEST decision to move to Austin to attend Texas State (GO BOBCATS!) where I received my Masters in Elementary Education. I taught first grade for my student teaching in Round Rock ISD and have found my home here at Casey where I taught first grade my first year. This year I am so happy to be in Pre-K!
In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family and shopping! During the summer I like going to the lake, being at the pool, pretty much anything outside!
Now that you know a little more about me, lets put our focus toward your child and together we can provide them with a successful first year in school!
